Where are your clients getting their somatic information?
In all likelihood, your clients are getting their degree at the University of TikTok and YouTube.
That’s just the reality. They are searching for how to heal trauma and continually being lead down the path of somatics. Which is great! That's where the research is pointing - yet do you know if the info they are getting is accurate? And who is leading your client down that path?
We would rather it be you.
Somatic movement, specifically yoga, has been proven to be an evidence based modality for trauma. It's not going away. In fact, it's about to ramp up. Pre-pandemic it was estimated that 70% of Americans would suffer from at least 1 trauma in their lifetime.
Learning about trauma leads your clients to do research and they are beginning to expect mental health therapists to know and be able to implement yoga/somatic modalities to support them in their recovery. That's why Clinical Yoga Institute was founded.
We bridge the gap between your original education and the modern science of trauma resolution.
If you've been considering beginning your training, the March 2026 cohort is time to start. The March 2026 is the last Clinical Yoga Institute training at the current tuition. Pricing increases in our next cohort. Now is a great time to take the leap.
Every cohort, we meet therapists who’ve been watching for months, sometimes years. They tell us they read the blogs, saved the emails and thought about it between sessions. They were just intimidated to get started.
Usually the hesitation isn’t about whether the work matters, it’s about whether they’re ready to step into working with the body. We understand that. Somatic work can feel intimidating.
Most therapists were trained to conceptualize, analyze, and interpret. Moving into physiology — breath, posture, pacing, subtle shifts in tone — feels like new territory. There’s a concern about opening something that might feel too big. Or not knowing what to do if emotion moves quickly.
That’s exactly why our training is structured the way it is.
Our training is not about adult gymnastics and headstand, although we offer the information in case you would like to teach at a studio with your degree. It's about the subtle aspects that heal your client in micro doses.
We start with grounded, clinically appropriate interventions. Chair-based movement. Regulated pacing. Small nervous system shifts that don’t destabilize the room. We focus on understanding what’s already happening in the body before we ever talk about anything that looks impressive.
It’s practical, contained and usable on Monday.
And yes, it can also be personally evolutionary. You will notice your own patterns more clearly, your own tendencies to override or brace and also how to balance that for yourself. That’s part of the work. Not dramatic, just honest insight with the opportunity to establish a holistic selfcare system that supports you.
If you’ve been waiting for the moment where you feel completely ready, that moment probably won’t arrive in a clean, obvious way. Readiness tends to look more like a decision than a feeling.
March 2026 is the final cohort at this tuition. After that, the investment increases as the program expands.
If you’ve been circling it, this is the point to either step in — or consciously decide not to.
